Black Tea
Black Tea is usually brisk, malty and full-bodied. However it has different flavors depending on the type and place of origin.
Indian tea: Assam and Darjeeling are the most famous teas. Assam tea usually has strong and bold flavors. Darjeeling tea is exceptionally flavorful. The plants are grown under cool temperatures and high altitudes in Darjeeling region. This tea has the nickname of “Champagne of Black Teas”.
Ceylon tea: Sri Lanka produces some strong and rich black tea as well as fine and sweeter teas depending on the region and elevation. It also manufactures big volumes of CTC tea for tea bag industry.
Chinese black tea: It usually comes from Yunnan, Anhui and Fujian provinces. The plant usually grows in high altitudes and produces delicate flavors.
